Okay so this is a bit of a cop-out instead of writing a real entry, but it’s a good video nonetheless showing a variety of freight trains in Filisur, on the RHB system in Switzerland.
If they can run a modern narrow gauge freight system, why can’t we?

The Maschienenfabrik Ostfildern has managed to gear up production and is now finishing two wagons for wood and other items. The Ostfildern Wagon works have finally completed their first wagon contract. -sort of. (They claim they managed it some time ago but the official photographer was’t around.)

I made it to the Exhibition. I think they were a bit bemused by me taking pictures of the wagons and leaving out their superb scenery. I didn’t realise it but the model is big, permanent (as in “part of the building”) and based on the Rhätische Bahn between Bergun and Filisur.
